Hi, I’m Joanna!
I’m an experienced tutor, mentor, and lecturer who has worked with high school students in both one-on-one and larger classroom settings. I graduated in 2023 with an ATAR of 97.75 and have over four years of experience supporting students across a wide range of abilities, learning styles, and backgrounds.
I have worked extensively with students who have learning difficulties (ADHD, Autism, ULD, Anxiety), low confidence, or who feel “behind” in class. Helping them rebuild both their understanding and confidence is what I do best. My lessons are highly personalised and focus on genuine, long-term improvement rather than short-term results. I prioritise building strong foundations, providing clear explanations, and developing strategies that truly make sense to each student, so learning feels achievable rather than overwhelming.
I hold myself to a very high standard as a tutor and am deeply invested in my students’ success. Many of my students go on to achieve outstanding results, with top performers reaching ATARs as high as 99.95. More importantly, they leave with the skills, confidence, and independence they need for life beyond high school.
